The hotel is located near Downtown with free parking, offering lovely rooms that may not match the website pictures exactly. The location is a good brisk 20-minute walk to the Staples Centre; the breakfast is okay, and the staff is really helpful. I especially liked the proximity to public transportation, as we caught 2 buses easily. For USC families, this hotel could be a good choice.

The hotel is conveniently located near DTLA with plenty of restaurants around. The room, however, was positioned right next to the noisy laundry room causing disturbances. The service was good, but the lack of politeness from some staff members was noticed. The dining options were ordinary, but sufficient to start the day. The area is close to the freeway but not the safest neighborhood. The price could have been more budget-friendly.
